Can You Use More Strength and Wisdom?

The world has a way of making us feel powerless and overwhelmed. Fear and hatred is peddled to us daily through news, social media, and now even in our interactions.

Prayer is a way to push back against the fear and hatred, and make supplications to the Lord.  In Philippians 4:6-7 we are taught, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus."

About Firefly Prayer

We are currently an online prayer community with nationwide and state-based prayer groups.

Our Michigan prayer group meets once a week by phone to pray for personal and family needs, friends and neighbors, and our nation.

We hope to grow our prayer ministry and teach others how to form their own prayer groups.

Helping Each Other

In the Lord's Prayer we say: Our Father, Our daily bread, Our trespasses. Praying with others builds faith, mends and fills hearts, quells loneliness, and multiplies praise for the Lord. What's more, Matthew 18:19 quotes Jesus as saying, "If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." In other words, our agreement in prayer assures our victory in prayer.
